From Rumba to Reggaetón, Cuban dancer/choreographer Rafael Ferrer Noel performs and teaches a range of Afro-Cuban dance styles including Rumba, Son, Mambo, Cha Cha Chá, Cuban Salsa/Casino and Reggaetón, as well as Afro-Cuban Contemporary dance. Rafael also sings and plays percussion in a number of Wellington-based bands including his very own Afro-Cuban jazz band "Maferefún Yemayá" and his "Son de Cuba" duo/trio.
